Biography
Mallory received her B.S. in Biology from Sonoma State University in 2014. As an undergraduate, I conducted research projects that investigated the impacts of ocean acidification on coral physiology and studied the effects of emersion stress and natural pH variability on the physiology of an intertidal, calcareous red alga. She joined the Burkepile lab in 2015 as a National Science Foundation, Graduate Research Fellow. She finished her Ph.D. in 2020 and was a postdoctoral scholar at San Francisco State University before starting as an Assistant Professor at Cal State University San Marcos.
