Biography

I am interested in how cross-domain interactions impact ecosystem functions in marine communities. Through using a variety of stable isotopic and molecular analyses I identify trophic linkages between metazoans and bacteria and archaea in soft-sediment systems and how these trophic connections impact community structure ecosystem function. I collaborated with the Burkepile Lab as a National Science Foundation, Polar Programs Post-doctoral Fellow.
