Marine Science Institute, University of California Santa Barbara

The UCSB Marine Science Institute seeks a qualified candidate to participate in microbial ecology research at the Iglesias-Rodriguez lab at UCSB. The research will involve understanding the effect of environmental stressors on phytoplankton physiology and biogeochemistry. Projects will include laboratory experiments using plankton to explore the effects of ocean acidification, warming, deoxygenation and hydrocarbon impacts on growth, carbon fixation and other functional properties.
