Biography

Lisa graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2017 with a B.S. in Ecology and Evolution. She is currently a research assistant and field technician for the Mazer Lab where she is studying microevolution in Nemophila menziesii, a California endemic wildflower. She is interested in the high phenotypic variance of N. menziesii within and among populations, and in the traits that may affect an individual’s fitness, such as flowering date, petal diameter, and seed size.
