Biography

Jonathan is a 3rd year Ecology and Evolution Major with an interest in investigating plant life, particularly flowering plants in the boreal regions. From Redondo Beach California, he is currently a research assistant in the Mazer Lab with a focus on machine learning and the genus Streptanthus. Outside of academics, Jon competes in salsa dancing performance and dedicates his time to the SBKlub salsa team. In the future, he hopes to fill his mornings with field work while spending his nights dancing until the sun comes up!
