Biography

Helen Payne completed her BS in Biology at Cal Poly SLO. She loves spending time in the field and has worked all sorts of botany field jobs exploring everything from remote islands to high elevation meadows. At UCSB Helen is planning on investigating floral characteristics and pollen attributes in Nemophila menziesii. She is also curious about phenological reshuffling in the face of climate change.
