Ryan joined the Caselle Lab in 2016 and will be working on synthesizing long term data sets around the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. Ryan's research focuses on how spatial management and conservation measures alter ecological communities and concurrently is working with NOAA's Office of National Marine Sanctuaries as a Research Operations Specialist. He has a bachelors from the University of Miami and a masters from California State University Long Beach, where he researched the movements and connectivity of juvenile fishes in southern California Estuaries.
