Alisa Bilyk
Biography
Alisa is a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara, majoring in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Ecology and Evolution. She is currently part of the Mazer Lab, working on helping to create a baseline for AI to be able to identify and count organs in herbarium specimens of Streptanthus polygaloides. She is interested in how different environmental factors affect ecosystems, with a specific interest in plant phenology and the warming climate. In her spare time, Alisa enjoys gardening, painting, and hiking.
