Biography

Geri is an undergraduate majoring in CCS Biology. She started working at the Caselle lab through an internship with CSEP’s EUREKA 2021 program. She is currently assisting in the lab’s Palmyra Atoll Coral Reef Herbivory Experiment and is in the 1st cohort of the DIVErsity in Diving Program. As a member of the Caselle lab, she hopes to contribute to the creation of new knowledge and present rigorous data that can support evidence-based marine conservation efforts.

Research Area

Geri works on multiple projects in the Caselle lab including understanding the effects of herbivory on coral reef recovery.
